01 / TERMS

Agreement

These are general terms for SiteGuru’s website, SEO and digital-support engagements, unless a signed agreement, accepted proposal or statement of work provides different terms. A proposal and the agreed scope control the commercial details of each engagement. Please read the terms before accepting a proposal.
02 / TERMS

Scope of services

SiteGuru provides only the work, deliverables and responsibilities expressly included in the accepted proposal or written arrangement. Items not included in the scope may require a separate quote.
03 / TERMS

Pricing and quotations

Website pricing from $750 refers to focused improvements or defined page work. SEO support starts from $550/month, with precise deliverables agreed in writing. Published prices are starting points, not fixed quotations for all businesses. Quotes are valid for the period indicated and may change if requirements change. We will state whether GST applies in each quote or invoice.
04 / TERMS

Payments and third-party costs

Deposits, milestones, subscription fees and due dates are set out in your accepted proposal or invoice. Hosting, domain names, paid plugins, advertising budgets, payment processing and other third-party charges are payable by the client unless specifically included. SiteGuru may pause non-critical work for overdue undisputed payments after appropriate notice, subject to applicable law and agreed terms.
05 / TERMS

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for supplying accurate information, authorised access, content, permissions, approvals and timely feedback. Clients must have the right to use all logos, photography, copy and other material they supply. Delays in access or approvals can affect delivery schedules.
06 / TERMS

Variations and extra work

Changes to the agreed scope, major content rewrites, new integrations or issues revealed in a pre-existing system may affect cost and timing. Significant variations will be discussed before work proceeds.
07 / TERMS

Third-party products

Websites and campaigns may depend on hosting, Google, WordPress, Shopify, plugins, email platforms and other third-party services. These providers have their own terms, charges, outages and policies; SiteGuru cannot guarantee their continuous availability or platform decisions.
08 / TERMS

Intellectual property

Unless an accepted proposal says otherwise, ownership of final bespoke client deliverables transfers after all related fees are paid. SiteGuru retains ownership of pre-existing methods, reusable tools, code, templates, know-how and internal materials. Third-party software and media remain subject to their licences. Project-specific arrangements take precedence.
09 / TERMS

Public project examples

SiteGuru may seek to describe or show publicly released client work as examples of services delivered, taking account of project confidentiality, ownership, and any agreed restrictions. Confidential systems, access credentials, private data and commercially sensitive material are not suitable for publication without appropriate permission.
10 / TERMS

Search and advertising performance

SiteGuru does not promise specific Google positions, traffic, enquiries, advertising results, revenue or uninterrupted availability. Results depend on search engines, platform changes, competitors, budgets, market conditions, implementation and other factors. Service reporting will distinguish actions completed from outcomes actually measured.
11 / TERMS

Confidentiality and security

Each party should protect non-public information provided for the engagement and limit its use to providing or receiving services unless disclosure is authorised or legally required. Access credentials should be shared through appropriate secure methods.
12 / TERMS

Pausing or ending services

Minimum terms, notice requirements, cancellation arrangements and handover responsibilities are as specified in the accepted proposal or separate agreement. Ending an engagement does not remove obligations for completed work, properly committed third-party costs or other amounts lawfully payable.
13 / TERMS

Liability and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, remedies or consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights and to the extent permitted by law, SiteGuru is not responsible for indirect losses caused by matters outside its reasonable control, including third-party outages and platform changes. Specific contractual liability arrangements should be reviewed in the accepted client agreement.
14 / TERMS

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or other laws that apply.
