Magento to WooCommerce Migration

There are a few different ways to migrate data from Magento to Woocommerce.

  1. Manually migrate store data
  2. Use a migration tool
  3. Hire a professional like me

1. Manually migrate store data

Export Magento Data

Magento has their own User Guide for migrating data. Basically you do it by going to your Magento admin dashboard. Along the sidebar, click “System.” Under the heading for Data Transfer, click “Export.”.

Import data to Woocommerce

From the WordPress dashboard, access your WooCommerce store by clicking “WooCommerce” along the left sidebar. Next, choose the types of content that you wish to import. To show you the process, we will use products. Click “Products” to import products.

After you select the csv file exported from magento and click continue, it will take you to the Column Mapping screen as below.

WooCommerce automatically matches the column names according to the CSV file you exported from Magento. You should still double check that these columns loaded properly and that the values were transferred in the right columns as well.

Just repeat the above process for each type of content you are importing, including orders, products, and customers.

2. Use a migration tool

Migrating your Magento store to WooCommerce is easy and you don’t need any particularly detailed knowledge to carry out this method. You just need a tool such as Cart2Cart which allows you to easily migrate your Magento store to the WooCommerce platform. These tools basically cost from $50-$200 based upon the number of products and customers data you want to migrate. I highly recommend using these tools as they can save time and require little to no technical experience. The best tools or applications you can use are:

1. FG Adobe Commerce to WooCommerce

2. Cart2Cart

3. LitExtension
